I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. I fished the Great South Bay since I was old enough to ride my bike. As a young boy, I worked filleting fish at a local fish market and wholesaler. This put me in the company of fishermen at a young age. I ran my own boat since the age of 15. I was catching Striped Bass, Fluke, Yellowfin, and Bluefin Tuna. I have been vacationing in the Keys each year since I was 11 years old, and each time we came down, I fell in love with the lifestyle and the fishing more and more. I thought the guides who used to take us fishing were the luckiest people on earth. In 2015 I left New York and moved down permanently. I have honed my skills and learned the fishery and the numerous techniques used down here. Come have a memorable day with us and get the same feeling I got all those years ago!

Come along on a journey through the mangroves or catch a blazing red sunset in the beautiful Florida bay and explore all the keys have to offer.

On a 4 hour trip we will fish some local channels, bridges, flats and islands in the Florida keys. Water and ice is provided on board. This is an ideal trip to introduce young people and families to the Florida keys fishing experience without the commitment of an 8 hour day.
3/4 DAY

A 6-hour trip will take us out chasing speckled trout, mangrove snapper, and, if we're lucky, snook! We will run out into the gulf and fish the grass flats with popping corks and other methods (live bait, artificial lures). If the weather is not on our side, we will switch gears and hit some local spots and target barracuda, jack, and mangrove snapper. A great trip for any experience level!
FULL DAY

A full day trip gives us the time to run into the everglades backcountry. Anglers have the opportunity to try different fishing techniques and see the beautiful unique landscape the everglades national park has to offer. We will use artificial baits and live baits depending on time of year and availability. This is where we will target snook, redfish, speckled trout, various species of inshore sharks and always a shot at the elusive tarpon.
Trip Preperation
All equipment, bait and fishing licenses are supplied by Captain Joey.
Ice and water are provided on board. We have a cooler for any food
or drinks you may like to bring along for your trip.
We urge you bring sunscreen to reapply throughout the day as there is not much sun cover on the boat. Captain Joey will always contact you prior to your trip to confirm and update you on weather conditions.
In some cases of wind and light rain we recommend packing a wind breaker or light jacket.
